White Rabbit Candy Inspired Animatronic

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, I created an original creature inspired by my favorite chapter from Poppy Playtime 2, featuring Mommy Long Legs. This project was an opportunity to focus on refining my skills in ZSpheres, both for character modeling and posing.

I aimed to push my understanding of using ZSpheres for blocking out forms and then transitioning into detailed sculpting. The model was textured in ZBrush, with the final creature capturing a blend of animatronic design and festive inspiration, while showcasing my progress in posing and sculpting with ZSpheres.

I started by blocking out the body with ZSpheres, then used brush alphas to add scratches and textures, giving the animatronic a weathered, survival-story look as if it had endured through an abandoned, harsh environment.

With a base sphere, I used the Move and Stretch brushes to manipulate the geometry, pulling it out to shape the teeth. This technique allowed me to create sharp, defined teeth by gradually building up the form with precision.
